Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, but tight sticky sleeves After several opportunities to wear the sweater, I really like the warmth and look of it. However, their is one big negative: the sleeves. The sleeves are unlined, and depending on what you are wearing underneath, it can be very difficult to push your arms through the sleeves without an extreme grip on your baselayer's sleeves. The sweater material grabs hold of what you are wearing. Making it worse, the sleeves are very narrow in the forearm area. The sweater could be much improved by lining the sleeves with a slick material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gorilla sizing This products looks and material are awesome. I have the better sweater vest, and it's awesome in every way. But who designed the sizing and/or runs Patagonias quality control should find a new line of work. I typically wear an X-large, sometimes large. I'm 6'2", about 215 and athletic build. My sweater vest is x-large, fits perfect. But this better sweater jacket is way off in sleeve length and torso length. I've returned it and going to try a large. We shall see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bee's Knee's! Love this sweater jacket so much I bought two. Wear them EVERY day in the office (business casual) since it's always a tad chilly there. This jacket is super comfy and fits into pretty much any situation from business casual to t-shirts and jeans. One thing to point out however is that it runs LARGE. Many previous reviews point this out and when I ordered the first time I thought to myself, no way...I'll never wear a small. A solid medium has always worked for me so I ordered the medium. I should have listened, medium was too big. Sent it back and got a small, PERFECT fit. Ordered the second one in a different color shortly thereafter. **Recommend downsizing one size** [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and warm This sweater is amazing. I bought it because I bought the Bette Sweater Vest and wanted more. I am about 5'10" 210lbs and the medium fits me very well. Its a little snug if i'm wearing a long sleeve underneath, but i also have fairly big arms and chest and broad shoulders. I think it looks nice for all occasions!! and did i mention its super warm and soft?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm! Bought in the smaller size for a snug fit. Sizing runs slightly bigger though; I am 5'11" and 165 and bought a small. Can't really layer anything under but very durable as a bass/inner sweater. Great warmth! Great quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most handsome jacket you could possibly own I bought this for my boyfriend a month ago- I was a little worried about sizing, but he's a consistent XXL in tshirts, etc, and the XXL fit perfectly with room for a sweater under it, even. He's 6'3" and the sleeves were long enough as well. Big win. He loves it, says its warm enough even into the high 30's and I think it looks incredibly rugged and manly. Everyone wins :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Investment I purchased matching Patagonias for myself and my boyfriends, and then matching ones or my parents. We ended up getting my parent's embroidered on the front chest for their 30th anniversary. We love ours and they love theirs. It isn't completely wind proof so it is great for mid forties to mid sixties for temperature; it is breathable but warm. This could also be used as a layer. For complete warmth a long sleeve shirt underneath is perfect. I am 6' 1" and 160lbs. I am tall and skinny and wear between a medium and large. I purchased a medium because it fits me well, but the shoulders are the tiniest bit snug. Patagonia products are great investments because they will last a long time with a lot of use, and they are fair trade certified, which means the people that made this product are treated fairly. Patagonia also treats the earth well when making their products. Overall, this is a great product that we will keep for years to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lives up to its name and fame I recently purchased this product and have already taken it through a multitude of temperatures through my recent travles. This jacket kept myself comfortable from the range of 30-75 degrees fahrenheit with proper layers. To review this product in simple terms it's versatile and well made. I would highly recommend to anyone.
